May Outreach Orientation

NCFHP’s 2026 May Outreach Orientation is happening in person May 29-30. This training is required for new student health interns.

Before the orientation, we recommend reviewing the pre-work. This will allow you to get the most out of the training.

Pre-work:

  • Heat Illness (5 pgs.) /Enfermedades por el calor (español) (6 páginas) 
  • Pesticides (5 pgs.) / Pesticidas (español) (5 páginas) 
  • Hypertension (4 pgs.) 
  • Green Tobacco Sickness (pdf) (20 pgs.)

If you are a SAF intern, please save the date for a training on how to use the database FHASES. We will offer the training online on June 3 from 10:00am-11:30am.

After training, we recommend you watch the following videos. These will help you be more prepared for outreach work.
