All North Carolina farmworkers are now eligible for COVID-19 vaccinations.

To get as many farmworkers vaccinated as quickly as possible, North Carolina’s COVID-19 Farmworker Vaccination Plan relies on local teams of staff from farmworker health clinics, local health departments, NC Cooperative Extension and community health workers.

Local teams have been hard at work planning vaccination events, outreach to growers and camps, and collaborating across organizations, counties, and departments. Thousands of migrant and seasonal farmworkers have already received a vaccine, and efforts are ramping up as more vaccine becomes available.
